2025 - India win 3rd ICC Champions Trophy, 2nd straight and another one joint in 2002

1961- Sputnik 9 successfully launches, carrying a dog and a human dummy, and demonstrating that the Soviet Union was ready to begin human spaceflight.

1996- India won the World Cup Quarter Final match in Bangalore against Pakistan (Wills World Cup).
