Significance of 2nd July:



World UFO Day is observed on 2nd July. It was founded by the UFO hunter Haktan Akdogan.  World UFO Day is an awareness day for people to gather together and watch the skies for unidentified flying objects (UFO). The first World UFO Day was celebrated in 2001.


World Sports Journalists Day is celebrated globally on July 2. It is the anniversary of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), established in 1924. The World Sports Journalists Day was introduced In 1994 by AIPS.


1897- British-Italian engineer Guglielmo Marconi obtains a patent for radio in London.

1940- Indian independence leader Subhas Chandra Bose is arrested and detained in Calcutta.

1966- France conducts its first nuclear weapon test in the Pacific, on Moruroa Atoll.

1972- India and Pakistan sign Simla Agreement peace accord. It was signed by Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India, and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the President of Pakistan.

2013- The International Astronomical Union names Pluto's fourth and fifth moons, Kerberos and Styx.

Significance of 31st March:
