Significance of 6th June:


National Gardening Exercise Day is celebrated on June 6th each year. It's a day to recognize the many benefits of gardening, including the physical and mental health benefits, and encourage people to get outside and enjoy the fresh air while exercising.

1890- Gopinath Bordoloi was an Indian politician and independence activist who served as the 1st Chief Minister of Assam from 1946 to 1950.

1891- Masti Venkatesha Iyengar was a well-known writer in the Kannada language. He was the fourth among Kannada writers to be honored with the Jnanpith Award, the highest literary honor conferred in India.

1911- Nihar Ranjan Gupta was an Indian dermatologist and a popular Bengali novelist.

1929- Sunil Dutt was an Indian actor, film producer, director, and politician known for his work in Hindi Cinema.

1988- Neha Kakkar Singh is an Indian playback singer. In 2005, she participated in the second season of the singing reality show, Indian Idol.

1934- Dinesh Chandra Majumder was a revolutionary associated with 'Yugantar' revolutionary group.

1986- Masti Venkatesha Iyengar was a well-known writer in the Kannada language. He wrote under the pen name 'Srinivasa'.

Significance of 01st July:

National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on 1st July all over India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day is also meant to commemorate the importance of doctors in our lives.
