1929- Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt were Indian revolunaries who threw bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi to protest against the Public Safety Bill and the Trade Dispute Bill.

1950- The Nehru-Liaquat Pact is also known as the Delhi Pact and it was signed between Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India, and Liaquat Ali Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. It sought to guarantee the rights of minorities in both countries after the Partition of India and to avert another war between them.

2010- U.S. President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev sign the New START Treaty.

2014- Windows XP reaches its standard End Of Life and is no longer supported.
